Engineers, Mathematicians, Physicists, Chemists, Biologists, Physiologists, Clinicians, Computer Scientists all working together in this space. There's a wide range of research activity with common ground over transferrable techniques forming the bridge for our collaborative research.

 

We are open to hearing from passionate researchers keen to get into biomedical research, whatever your background. Since opening the space in Spring 2021, the BEST Lab has grown significantly, with >30 active members.

The Team works across many other facilities across the Faculty and University. There are active collaborations cross Faculty, maximizing expertise and resource on both Campuses at Swansea University. For instance, groups such as those in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine collaborate closely advancing characterization of biomaterials. We openly share facilities and expertise across the group whether computational or experimental for the benefit of research quality.
